Can I suggest, that you don't move unless you have enough money to cover bond and first rent payment?

We are so desperate to move given our landlord has increased the rent twice in two years, it's no longer worth what we're paying. So, we have been approved for a unit 10km from Melbourne which is good because I work in the city so commute on the train daily. Need to be as close as affordable, I can't understand how some people travel an hour or more to get to work. At a previous job it would take me 40-45mins and it was one minor reason why I quit.
I haven't had to pack our stuff in two years though, I am so not looking forward to boxing everything.

Given we're in a very small place now, some of the non essential things are still in boxes so that's one positive.
Thankfully the move will be all done before uni starts in the first week of March too! Talk about timing. So, hopefully the 12th we'll pick up the keys. Unfortunately it means I won't get to draw much either, I've been working on improving my technique, I just hope the break won't make me forget anything!
